Frank Carroll
Freestyle, Jump Technique

The only figure skating coach to hold the title of “Olympic Coach of the Year”, Mr. Carroll is a medalist in 3 US National Championships. His students have won all colors of Olympic medals; Gold, Silver and Bronze, 11 World Championships and numerous National Titles. Champions past & present include Michelle Kwan, Linda Fratianne, Christopher Bowman, Tiffany Chin, Mark Cockerel, Timothy Goebel, Evan Lysacek, Jennifer Kirk, Mirai Nagasu & Carolina Kostner. Mr. Carroll trained with the legendary Maribel Vinson Owen and performed professionally with Shipstad’s & Johnson’s Ice Follies. Mr. Carroll has been inducted into four Halls of Fame: US Figure Skating, World Figure Skating, Professional Skaters Association and International Skating Institute. |

Rafael Arutyunyan
Freestyle, Jump Technique

Rafael has developed a highly-respected reputation because of his technical skills and his students’ performances on both national and international levels. Mr Arutyunyan has coached many national and world-class competitors throughout his career, including 5-time World Champion Michelle Kwan and Russian National Champion Alexander Abt. His most recent students, Jeffrey Buttle and Mao Asada, claimed the 2008 Men’s and Ladies World Champion titles, respectively. |

Phillip Mills
Choreography 
Phillip Mills is the coach and choreographer for John Baldwin and Rena Inoue as well as choreographer for fellow World Teammate Ashley Wagner. He has been a continued forced in the creative journey of the sport of figure skating singles, pairs and dance. Mr Mills has choreographed for champions from 16 different nations as well as Michelle Kwan, Sasha Cohen, Tara Lipinski and World Champion Jill Trenery. Team USA Camps, USFS Coaches Colleges and Judges Schools have used his expertise as a faculty member. |

Mary Couense
Freestyle, Moves in the Field, Spins 
A former British Champion, Mary was the first national and world coach for Ice Castle that brought international skaters to train here. Her qualifications in all disciplines of figure skating have enhanced many World and Olympic competitors’ training programs. Mary offers a complete package for testing and championship skating. Her methods teach students to be winners both on and off the ice.

Doug Murray
Freestyle, Ice Dancing, Moves in the Field 
Doug has been coaching for 21 years at Ice Castle. He trains all levels of freestyle, utilizing both his Ice Dance and freestyle experience to improve skaters’ jump technique, artistry, footwork, edge quality and power. Well known for his technique and style with ‘Moves in the Field’, Doug has coached many skaters from Preliminary through to the Senior moves test. He has been featured in many ice shows including Symphony on Ice and Disney’s Hits on Ice.

Andrey Bushkov
Jump Technique, Pairs, Harness 
Andrey received his Masters Degree in Physical Education from the St. Petersburg States Academy and utilizes this background in preparing his students for competitive figure skating. Together with partner Marina Eltsova, Andrey is a six-time Russian National Champion, two-time European Champion and World Pair Champion. Andrey also represented Russia at the 1998 Olympics. Utilizing his experience, Andrey has taught both national and international competitors including Italian Junior National Champion Federicka Constantini and American Junior Pairs team Lindsey and Andy Seitz. He joined the Ice Castle as a Staff coach in 2005. |

Nadia Kanaeva
Choreography, Edge & Footwork, Spins 
Nadia was a Russian National Team member for six consecutive years at both the Novice and Junior levels. She has apprenticed as a coach under the tutelage of Elena Vodorezova and is currently assistant coach to Rafael Arutyunyan. Under such guidance Nadia has developed a wide repertory of coaching skills involving jumps, spins, footwork and choreography. Her students have included two-time Japanese National Champion and 2008 World Champion Mao Asada, and her sister, Mai Asada. |

Igor Samohin
Freestyle, Pairs 
Igor has won or placed in numerous Russian and international pairs events in addition to those listed above and was a member of the USSR Junior National Team for four consecutive years. He received his Masters Degree in the Academy of Sport in Moscow and served as the National Olympic Coach of Israel in 1998 and as coach on the 2003 US Junior National Team. Igor's student is the 2010 Juvenile US National Champion. He coaches all aspects of singles and pairs, including program development. |

Larisa Ge
Choreography, Spins, Off-ice Stretching 
For many years Larisa worked with skaters from the Bulgarian, Czechoslovakian and German National Teams. She was the Coach and Art Director of the Chinese National Team for 8 years and her students have had many accomplishments; a top three finish at the 1997 World Junior Championships, top seven finish at the 2004 World Championships, Silver Medalist at the 2009 Four Continents Competition and Gold Medalist at the Winter University Games. Larisa coaches all areas of figure skating technique, artistic dance and off-ice stretching. |

Galina Bushkova
Freestyle 
Galina Bushkova as a Russian Figure Skating Federation certified professional, has over 20 years of international coaching experience in Russia, Germany, Italy and the United States, and has also produced ice shows along with special events for figure skating competitions. She has a Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training specializing in Figure Skating from the Academy of Physical Culture and Sport in St Petersburg. Additionally, she is certified in classical and sports massage. At Ice Castle, Galina is the director of the Olympic Hopefuls training program for young and talented students, as well as teaching various levels of skaters in both ISI and USFSA, including skaters who want to enter this sport as adults. |

Aurore Premont
Freestyle 
Aurore began skating at the age of 4 in Nice, France. She trained at Ice Castle for under the guidance of many elite coaches such as Christa Fassi, Evelyn Kramer and Rafael Arutyunyan. Aurore was Monagasque's National Champion, competed in 9 French Nationals and several international competitions throughout her career. She is the first skater to represent Monaco on the international circuit and had many opportunities to perform for the Royal Family of Monaco. |
